This contribution reviews a selection of European and Dutch cases regarding food from 2007 until July 2013. Section II of this chronicle focuses on judgments of the Courts of the European Union with regard to labelling, food supplements, geneticallymodified foods, novel foods, public information, the right of a secondopinion, classificationissues andthe rapid alert system. Section III reflects on judgements of the Dutchcourtsoninteraliahygiene andmedical claims.
