The European Association for Food Law (“EFLA” or L’Association européenne pour le Droit de l'Alimentation – “AEDA”) is a well-established, international, non-governmental non-profit organisation. Its essential goals are to study, promote and contribute to the development and harmonisation of food law. One of the main means to attain these goals is the International Congress which takes place only every two years. This year’s 21st EFLA Congress was held in Warsaw, Poland, and was hosted by the well-known national law firm Wardynski and Partners. The Congress was attended by more than 50 experts in food law from over 15 countries representing food business operators, law offices, public authorities and universities.
