EFFL 2/2019 - Outside the EU shell

On issue 2-2019 of the European Food and Feed Law Review, we take a look at regulatory practice the world over, starting with some of the EU’s major trading partners in how they tackle Food Fraud. The impact of technological innovation in regulation has been receiving more and more attention, as we can see in the articles on labelling of Bioengineered Foods in the USA and Nanomaterials in the EU. This issue also examines the Traditional Use of Botanicals and the new Regulation (EC) No 882/2004 on hygiene. This issue also features a commentary on the ongoing Case C-432/18 Aceto Balsamico di Modena.

Our regular sections on new Publications, EU Legislation, Jurisdiction of the CJEU, Notifications per EC Directive (EU) 2015/1535 and European Parliament Q&A provides you with the most comprehensive view of what’s going on in the fields of Food and Feed law, policy and research.

We also bring the latest developments in the Czech Republic, Denmark and Germany.
